Ivy Court residents visit Anglia Square

A group of residents from Ivy Court went on a trip in the minibus to Anglia Square, on the historic Magdalen and St Augustine’s streets, to look around the charity shops and an antique shop. They were looking for some games that could be played in the home and also leave in the lounges for residents to play with each other, families and friends.

The residents really enjoyed getting out and doing a bit of shopping, something many fondly remembered doing in their younger days and could happily discuss with one another. They all really enjoyed looking around the antique shop at old home appliances that they recalled using when they were younger, again bringing back memories that provided them with endless discussion. The residents enjoyed their time out so much that they were walking around Anglia Square for two and a half hours!

Everyone then rounded the day off with a lovely coffee before leaving to go back to Ivy Court, getting back just in time for supper.
