Ivy Court open day

After months of preparations what brilliant day was had by everyone at Ivy Court care home in Norwich.

Fun and games were had in the garden playing games like, Tumbling Tower (Jenga), Hook the duck, Boulles, Snakes & Ladders, Quoites, Hoopla and a Tin Can alley. The sun shone for most of the day, although we did have a downpour around 1 O’clock luckily most had popped inside for their lunch. Rain did not spoil the day it was soon over and everyone was back outside for more fun.

We had some great entertainment by Peter Piper and Richard Newman with a variety of songs for us to sing along to, I am sure we will be contacting them again for a return visit. There was also a variation of stalls clothes, arts & crafts wood burning, Avon, cakes and plants to buy for everyone that visited.

We ended the day with our Raffle, Guess the name of the Teddy, Guess the weight of the cake and how many sweets in the jar.

Thank you ALL for your help and support.
