Hulcott’s raising funds for Macmillan ‘Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning’

Hulcott are proud to support and celebrate the ‘‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’‘ at our care home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Our contribution to this fund raising event is a “Spot the Cake” competition when we will invite all visitors to the home to guess how many spots are on the cake for £1 a go.

Our residents will be busy baking, icing and decorating a Spotty Cake and the cake will be displayed in reception from Monday 12th September and the number of spots will be revealed on Monday 19th September, when we are holding an afternoon tea in our garden (weather permitting) or in our conservatory.

There will be a small prize for the winning guess. The cake will be cut up and sold per slice on the 19th September to our team and visitors and we hope to raise a few pounds with our event for the Macmillan Fund.

The ‘Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning’  event is run by Macmillan and is their biggest fundraising event for people dealing with cancer.

All of us at Hulcott are proud to be supporting a worthwhile organisation such as Macmillan. People all over the UK will be hosting their own fundraising events and coffee mornings and funds from our event will be donated so they may continue their great work providing practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.
