Hulcott residents enjoy a sweet afternoon in the sunshine

The residents of Hulcott made the most of the wonderful weather this week as they enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the local canal before taking some time to feed the ducks.

They were pleasantly surprised to stumble across a canal boat selling old fashioned confectionery, which soon had the residents reminiscing about all the old fashioned sweets they used to enjoy. Some members of the group even treated themselves to some coffee fudge and whisky fudge before heading to the Bluebells Tearooms in Marsworth for a welcome spot of afternoon tea.

Located in the peaceful village of the same name, Hulcott is a 19th Century house providing residential and nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
