Hulcott open the doors for vintage tea party

The lounge at Hulcott was transformed into a vintage tea room this week in celebration of National Care Home Open Day.

A number of ladies from various local WI groups joined the staff and residents for tea, coffee and delicious chocolate cake, as baked by a relative in support of the annual event.

All of the guests had the opportunity to meet the staff team, take a guided tour of the period home, chat to residents and find out more about care home life from Manager Margaret Smart.

Located in the peaceful village of the same name, Hulcott is a 19th Century house providing residential and nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
