“Home from home by the West Sussex coast”
Set within two acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, Rectory House is a stunning Georgian home lovingly updated to provide the highest standards of care for up to 48 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
Originally built in 1791 as the Rectory for the church at Sompting, Rectory House has been sensitively converted to deliver outstanding residential and nursing care. Great care has been taken to retain many of the characterful period features, including ornate cornices on the high ceilings and beautiful original fireplaces. Large and airy bedrooms and communal areas serve to reinforce Rectory House’s philosophy of being a real home from home for our residents.
Home Manager Jackie Cox and her dedicated staff team provide a range of residential and nursing support, including short stay, trial stays and convalescent, as well as longer term care.
We firmly believe that a move into a care home should be a positive one, and that a wide variety of activities and social opportunities are essential to a person’s quality of life. That’s why we have a full-time dedicated activities organiser to create interesting, varied and meaningful activities both inside and outside the home. This philosophy is enhanced through strong links with local clubs and associations.
Rectory House is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and has ISO9001/2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.
