Hawkhill House celebrate the Queens Birthday

Hawkhill House in Milltimber, celebrated the Queens birthday this week in style.

Everyone that attended the afternoon was offered Bucks fizz or fruit juice on arrival and received a spirited welcome from a young local student, called Ewan Robertson, playing his bag pipe to traditional and contemporary Scottish music as part of his Duke of Edinburgh award programme.

This was followed by an afternoon packed full of fun with a RAF drill, military parade to mark the Queens birthday party, by the 107 Aberdeen Squadron Air Training Corp, a cake decorating contest, Battle of the Sexes great British Quiz, Afternoon tea singalong and a Raffle with prizes from the local community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
