Gardening begins at The Orchard Nursing Home

Residents took full advantage of the recent sunshine by planting seeds for The Orchard’s garden. They planted seeds into pots and over the coming weeks they will be watered and replanted into the garden to watch them grow.

Gardening is a well enjoyed activity in the home and is often very popular with the residents. So much so, that the afternoon led to some sketches being produced by some of the residents.

This is a great opportunity for residents to get out and enjoy the weather whilst being given the opportunity to help add to the home’s green aesthetic. This is something that we are very proud of at The Orchard Nursing Home.
