Football fever at Ferfoot

Some keen football fans from Ferfoot enjoyed a day out at Swindon Town Football Club recently. Activities Coordinator Charlene Duncan-Page and Care Assistant Caleb Stanger-Roberts accompanied residents Ray Tuck, Ken Hadfield and David Smart to watch ‘the Robins’ play their West Country rivals Bristol City. The residents had a good view of the action from their front row seats and were elated when Michael Smith’s goal ensured Swindon won the match 1-0, ending Bristol City’s unbeaten start to the League One season. Situated in the attractive market town of Chippenham, Ferfoot provides the highest level of residential dementia care for up to 52 elderly people.
