Exotic Encounters at Wytham House

On Friday 16th August, residents and the care team at Wytham House in Farmoor held an Exotic Encounters Party in preparation for our visit from some exotic animals on Thursday 29th.

The party was a huge success, and all of our residents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Silvana and Lia prepared some tropical themed drinks whilst JP had prepared a delicious spread of food. It was so heartwarming to see such beaming smiles on everybody’s face, laughing and joining in with games and dancing along to the music.

ZooLab brought lots of interesting exotic animals to see us, from snakes and reptiles to exotic snails and a gerbil! Many of our residents thoroughly enjoyed the animals’ visit.

At Wytham House we offer residential and nursing dementia care provided by outstanding highly-skilled professionals. The wellbeing of our residents is a top priority for all of our team here from reception, carers, and activities to our catering team and we are all committed to making sure that their time spent with us is happy and rewarding, as it is for us too.
