Ex ‘Hermit’ pays a visit to St Wilfrids

This week saw the return of popular entertainer Mike Hamill to St Wilfrids.

Mike, formerly a guitarist in the 1960’s band Herman’s Hermits, is always a popular visitor to St Wilfrids and he didn’t disappoint with everybody was in the mood for a party.

Mike’s headline song in the set was ‘You’ll never walk alone’ and by this time everybody was up and dancing.

Situated just two miles from Lancaster in the picturesque village of Halton-on-Lune, St Wilfrids Hall is a beautiful country house that has been sympathetically converted to provide residential and nursing care for up to 36 elderly people.
