The King Lives on at Dormy House

The King lives! And today much to the delight of Residents at Dormy House he came to turn the clock back and fill the home with Music, Laughter and even a little hip wiggling (and not just the man himself).

The Ladies were swooning and being serenaded whilst the men had on their Blue Suede Shoes (slippers) and tapped away contentedly.

Everyone sang along and we even invited Elvis to have his picture taken in our very own American Diner which he was very impressed with.

Music is great for the soul and really helps self-esteem and some of our residents interact with each other. It is always a great talking point for a few days and the day itself brings up happy memories of music and dancing.

We can’t wait to welcome Elvis back!
