Easter Arts and Crafts at Horsell Lodge

On the days leading up to the Easter weekend, residents at Horsell Lodge enjoyed taking part in an arts and crafts activity in our regular craft club, creating some fantastic Easter art and colouring in of pictures of Eggs and Chicks.

We then scattered their work around the home to decorate and for all to enjoy.

Some residents enjoyed counting to see how many pieces of artwork they could see and this proved to be a great discussion point with friends and family on where they had seen them and comparing their findings.

On Easter Sunday, residents all enjoyed an Easter egg that had been left for them overnight by our very own Easter bunny.

Robyn Bennett, Home Manager said

“The craft club at Horsell Lodge is a popular and very important part of our life here at Horsell Lodge. We find this regular activity, especially when linked to an event such as Easter, is extremely beneficial to our residents as it brings everyone together in a fun and relaxed environment. It’s also great for residents to see their own work displayed around their home”
