East Hill House celebrate Christmas in style

Christmas was a busy time for the residents of East Hill House in Liss, with plenty of exciting festive events going on in the home.

On Thursday 1st December 2016 residents at the home participated in making Christmas Wreaths.  Some actively decorated and put them together, while others watched and supervised the goings on.

A lot of hard work and effort had gone into their creations and a week later residents Mirium and Nancy were able to show them off at the local Liss late night shopping event. A grand total of £240 was raised from the sales of the wreaths – the residents were all very pleased!

On Wednesday 14th December, East Hill House held their annual Christmas Party with residents, relatives and the care team coming together to enjoy music from a local Liss band and a delicious spread provided by the chef and her team.

Home manager Samantha Booty said “We love welcoming guests and the local community into East Hill House – our doors are always open. All of our residents have really enjoyed all the different activities going on in the home and being able to get involved.

Christmas is really important to us and we know that everyone has memories associated to this special time of year. The residents really enjoyed the constant flow of guests to our home and the various activities.”
