Dennis and his banjo at Rendlesham

The residents at Rendlesham Care Centre in Ipswich were treated to Dennis playing a festive tribute on his Banjo this week.

Dennis is a local gentleman and also a relative of one of our care team. He came into Rendlesham to entertain the residents for an afternoon, with gentle Country and Western Music and some festive songs. Dennis is regular at the home and is always well recieved, often playing George Fornby numbers.

Residents, relatives and the care team got up to dance and sing along to his music, whilst others that weren’t as able happily danced and tapped away from the comfort of their chairs.

It was a greatly enjoyed all, thank you and we will see you again soon!

Rendlesham Care Centre provides specialist residential, nursing and dementia care in a purpose built environment for up to 60 elderly residents.
