Coxhill residents enjoy wonderful Wisley

With a picnic packed and the autumn weather set fair, several of the Coxhill Manor residents made the short journey to RHS Garden Wisley this week. The historic gardens provided the perfect backdrop for an interesting and entertaining day out and as they wound their way along the picturesque paths, the residents were delighted to see the rock gardens and streams full of fish and friendly ducks. After occasional stops to survey the wider floral views, the group arrived at the Glass House, which housed palm trees and a beautiful waterfall. They toured the dark educational tunnel and took in plenty of fascinating facts about the wildlife around them, before having coffee and cake and catching the bus back to Coxhill. Located on the outskirts of Chobham, Coxhill Manor provides residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 60 elderly people.
