Claydon House hosts colourful Care Home Open Day

Claydon House care home opened its doors again recently to host a vintage tea party in support of this year’s National Care Home Open Day.
The Wallands Crescent home, part of the Caring Homes group, used the event as an opportunity to get to know the local community further through hosting the colourful event.
Members of the local community joined staff, residents and relatives as they enjoyed a light buffet and homemade strawberry punch. Head Chef Tony and his team pulled out all the stops as they produced a host of vintage cakes including cupcakes and a Victoria Sponge, all served up to the backdrop of vintage music.Situated in a quiet residential area of Lewes, Claydon House provides care and nursing support for up to 47 people.
