Christmas comes early at Mount Pleasant

The festive spirit has taken hold early at Mount Pleasant care home this year, with the staff and residents holding an early Christmas-themed day. The day started with a Christmas craft session, followed by a hearty Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and Christmas Carol singing to round the day off. Residents were not deterred by the fact that it was only October – instead they saw it as a good opportunity to practice for the main event in a couple of months! Located on the edge of Burton-on-Trent, Mount Pleasant is a modern care home providing residential and specialist dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
