Chinese Church visit Ivy Court for Easter

Children from our local Chinese Methodist Church visited Ivy Court this week to sing to the residents and some of the care team.

The children and their chaperon’s sang some songs about Easter and also brought in hand made Easter gifts for each of our residents. We even had some of our new residents join in and meet the children for the first time.

The residents really enjoyed listening to the children sing and they talked about Easter and religon with children afterwards. It is really important to our residents that they keep in touch with people in the community as it gives them a purpose and keeps them active and aware of what is happening.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
