‘Chime time’ at Hulcott

Local lady Ruth is a popular visitor to Hulcott and often spends time singing hymns and praying with the residents.

During a recent visit however, Ruth was armed with something a little bit different, as she gave the residents a chance to try their hand at bell-ringing.

She brought a range of light hand bells with her and the residents relished the challenge of getting to grips with the bells and trying something new, although they agreed it was harder than they thought it might be. As such, they have requested that Ruth bring the bells again so they can get some more practice.

Located in the peaceful village of the same name, Hulcott is a 19th Century house providing residential and nursing care for up to 38 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
