Castle View celebrate The Queen’s 90th birthday

On Sunday 12th June, Castle View nursing home on the Isle of Man held an open day and party to commemorate the Lord of Man, Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday. A range of activities were held in the home and thoroughly enjoyed by all including a musical performance from the Phillipino Youth Choir and some rather royal themed games.

Residents, relatives and visitors to the home thoroughly enjoyed the day. The chef put on a fantastic spread which ensure that everyone left full of delicious food!

“It was great to celebrate such a special birthday” commented John Adair, Home Manager: “Our residents had really been looking forward to the celebrations and it was fantastic that the day was so successful, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the day. As always, staff pulled together as a team to create a really special day for our residents which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.”

Castle View nursing home provides nursing and dementia care for up to 66 elderly people. The home has been designed and built to the highest specification and provides the highest standards of care in a warm and friendly environment. The home sits within beautifully landscaped grounds with stunning views over the countryside and seaside. It comprises of eight spacious resident lounges and four comfortable dining rooms, alongside well-appointed en suite bedrooms.
