Clackmannanshire care home Willow Unit at Hillview Court, has been awarded the Specialist Adult Care Award at the 2011 Scottish Care Awards for providing the highest standard of care and support for people living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
Taking place at a glittering ceremony at the Hilton in Glasgow, the Scottish Care Awards recognise outstanding achievements in the care sector.
Willow Unit is the newest specialist care addition at Hillview Court in Clackmannanshire, which provides specialist support for five people affected by ABI. Staff from the home were absolutely delighted to win the award and they all had a fantastic evening celebrating their achievement.
Tanya Taylor-Smith, Hillview Court’s Home Manager, said:
