Bradbury Residents turn their hand to Pottery.

Several residents from Bradbury house found their artistic side recently whilst taking part in a local pottery painting class in Braintree.

Whilst all of the residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves, Alan Philpot was in his element as an already avid watercolour artist.

The designs that the residents created on the pottery were fantastic, and some have even said once they are glazed they intend to give them as gifts to their loved ones for Christmas.

The residents all signed a heart shape plaque that read ‘Bradbury House Residents’ and they dated it. The plaque will be glazed before taking pride of place in the home.

Located in the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family. The home dates in part from the 17th century and, following a comprehensive and sympathetic conversion, retains many original features whilst providing an outstanding residential care setting. Bradbury House enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
