Bradbury house residents enjoy wartime reminiscence in Maldon

Three residents from Bradbury House enjoyed a trip to the Military Museum in Maldon recently for a fascinating afternoon of wartime reminiscence. Resident John recalled standing with his suitcase and his gas mask amongst dozens of other children on the railway platform, waiting to be evacuated to the countryside. Grace also relived her time spent in the army, when she was involved in radio messaging along the coast, alerting others of approaching aircraft. Each story shared was touching in its own way and made for a memorable trip. Situated at the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House was the very first home in the Caring Homes family and enjoys an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest standard of residential care in a homely environment for up to 21 elderly people.
