Bonfire Night at Moorlands!

Residents and staff at Moorlands Nursing Home celebrated Bonfire night with a whole range of festivities recently, helping to wash away those winter blues and get everyone ready for the festive season.

Celebrations kicked off with a visit from a singer that regularly visits the Surrey home, who put on a fabulous show that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. This was followed by a spectacular firework display with a lovely glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

Located on the edge of the vibrant village of Lightwater in Surrey, Moorlands provides residential and nursing care for up to 40 elderly people in a bright and homely environment. The home’s semi-rural location offers a tranquil setting within easy reach of the village’s many amenities.

Moorlands was originally a large Edwardian family home and now provides the highest standards of residential, nursing and palliative care in an environment that retains a real home from home feel. Residents’ bedrooms and all communal areas are finished to a high standard. This attention to detail is replicated in Moorlands’ care provision. The home enjoys an excellent local reputation for care and maintains strong links with the community.
