‘On your Bike’ at Mill House

At Mill House in Chipping Campden , some of our residents expressed a wish for a keep fit regime in January.

Their wish is our command, well actually the wish was granted by the wonderful team at Everyone Active, Cotswold Leisure – Chipping Campden who kindly donated us an exercise bike!

We intend to “Cycle the Cotswolds” in our gentle and regular exercise sessions. Not only is this a great way of keeping active with sessions tailored to our fitness levels, by setting a goal we’ll have an aim to work for, can plan our trip and keep the whole activity fun and enjoyable. The friendly banter and competition to finish the journey will also keep us motivated to stay on course.

Whilst we may not have done many miles yet, we’re keen and raring to go and who knows, once we’ve finished the Cotswolds, who knows where we will go next. Why not come back to our News area and we will keep you updated as to our travels.

At Mill House we take great pride in listening to our residents and their wishes so ensuring everyone feels involved and our wide range of activities, based on their likes and preferences, will make a great impact to their lives and wellbeing.

Once again from all of us at Mill House we say a huge big THANK YOU to the team at Everyone Active – Cotswolds Leisure – we genuinely do appreciate your kind donation.

Pictured is Dan from Everyone Active meeting Kim Mulford our Home Manager and Wendy one of our wonderful volunteers cycling a few miles to get us started.

At Mill House, we deliver residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 45 elderly residents in a friendly and supportive environment.
