Baking & Making at East Hill House

The activities team at East Hill House have been hard at work in recent weeks coming up with a new range of interactive activities in and around the Hampshire home.

The Activity Coordinators at all of our homes work closely with residents to ensure that planned sessions are built on existing interests or curiosity around new experiences.

With this in mind, they have recently introduced a baking day every Thursday at the home with the first week seeing residents making and decorating a number of delicious cupcakes.

Along with the baking day, an Arts and Crafts day has been introduced at the grand retirement home in Liss. The residents recently enjoyed a hands-on class in teddy bear making. The session evoked memories of time spent sewing for several of the residents; hence they enjoyed the challenge of rediscovering their stitching skills.

Located in the village of Liss, this attractive Hampshire care home provides residential and specialist dementia care for up to 35 elderly people in a unique setting.
