American song book sing-a-long

Galsworthy House in Kingston upon Thames recently held an American themed event called “The great American song book “. The Galsworthy House dining room was decorated in red, white, blue and American style fabric. A family member of our resident Trudy kindly provided the entertainment. The “American” supper was as one would expect with beef burgers and chips plus a specially made relish.  This was followed by a Louisiana pudding and cream. Many residents joined in the singing, with our new resident Bridget singing Danny Boy, solo and without music. A great time was had by all and everyone gave a big thank you to Trudy’s family for helping make the evening such a success.
