Alzheimer’s Cupcake Day at Tall Trees

Tall Trees residents and members of our team were very busy this week preparing everything for the Alzheimer’s Cupcake Day.

We started in the morning when the residents helped bake the cupcakes. We choose to create chocolate cupcakes so everybody get ready and started working first thing in the morning.

It was difficult to resist eating them all because they were looking so good but we held firm and we all decided to wait until the afternoon.

In the afternoon we get the room ready…. filled up the table with cupcakes and drinks and waited for our guests to arrive.

The cupcakes were delicious and the event was a great success. We are proud to say that Tall Trees managed to raise almost £50 towards the Alzheimer’s Society and to help them in their fight to raise awareness about dementia.

Daphne G., one of our resident said:

“They are so good! I am so sorry that I can’t eat anymore!”

“I am very happy with this event. I know this is not too much but I also know that it would help someone”.
