St. Wilfrids Hall

Saint Wilfrids Nursing Home is an impressive country house located in the picturesque village of Halton on Lune, St Wilfrids enjoys commanding views across the large gardens and the beautiful Lune Valley - this tranquil environment provides the backdrop to the quality of care and attention received at the Home.

For everything at Saint Wilfrids is designed around the resident to provide the most peaceful yet stimulating time at our home from home.

Accommodation

The philosophy of 'a home from home' is evident throughout, and especially in our accommodation. Residents may choose from a comprehensive range of single or companion rooms, the majority of which have en-suite facilities, and all of which are fitted with a nurse-call system and television point.

Residents are also encouraged to bring treasured possessions with them to help furnish their bedroom and to complement the panoramic views which many of the rooms enjoy.

Originally built as a private residence, Saint Wilfrids has retained many of the original features of the Hall, including stone fireplaces, mullion windows, stained glass windows, a great oak staircase, and a beautiful walnut veneer panelled day room.
