Kingsclear

Kingsclear is a private residential and nursing home located in an exclusive area, close to the town centre in Camberley. The home benefits from a blend of traditional and purpose built accommodation on three floors.

The elegant Edwardian heritage and accommodation is evident throughout, having been delightfully converted to retain many original features, whilst ensuring every facility is available to provide a high standard in comfort and care.

Large ceilings with and bay windows provide bright and spacious accommodation throughout. On the ground floor there are two beautiful drawing rooms with elaborate plaster mouldings on the ceilings, period fireplaces and large windows that create a stately atmosphere in Kingsclear care home. Both drawing rooms overlook the terrace and landscaped gardens, and there are less formal sitting rooms on the first and second floors.

We have a large dining room on the ground floor where residents can entertain family or friends from within the home. Meals can also be taken in the comfort of residents’ bedrooms should a resident wish to dine alone.

Kingsclear's bedrooms provide an area for personal privacy, nurses and healthcare assistants only visit residents on request or when absolutely necessary and always knock before entering. Housekeeping services are provided when rooms are vacant when possible to ensure that resident’s privacy is respected at all times. All bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard, residents are encouraged to bring with them treasured items to provide a more personal feel to their private accommodation, the majority of our bedrooms are single with en-suite facilities. Private telephone lines can be installed into residents’ bedrooms by arrangement with the homes’ management.

Kingsclear stands in large landscaped gardens, largely laid down to lawns with borders that reflect the colours of the seasons and an attractive terrace to the front of the home provides residents with an area to sit and enjoy the gardens. There are also a number of more secluded seating areas, and woodland paths available for those who fancy a stroll. The tremendous variety of trees and shrubs provide a haven for wildlife that can be enjoyed from both inside and outside of the home.
