Caring Homes’ Walstead Place Chosen as Finalists for National Care Awards

The Care Team at Walstead Place Residential Home, in Lindfield, Near Haywards Heath, has been short-listed as finalists in this year’s National Care Awards.

Jane Large, Manager of Walstead Place dedicated care team have been short-listed from thousands of nominations for their extraordinary devotion to the elderly residents who reside at Walstead Place.

Whilst this is an incredible honour the Walstead Care team have already this year been accredited with Hospitality Assured status, Investors in People, ISO9001 (2000) in addition to receiving a 3 Star Excellent Award, the highest attainment possible by the inspectorate and regulator for care homes CSCI.

Jane Large said “this has meant so much to the team, whilst we have received numerous accolades throughout the year, being recognised as a finalist at the National Care Awards, is the icing on the cake.”

The Care Awards is a prestigious annual event designed to recognise excellent service and dedication across all spectrums of care. Winners of each category will be announced at a special ceremony in London on November 29th 2008.
