Artistic Flair for Mill House Residents

Mill House, the prestigious, purpose-built care home based in the heart of picturesque Chipping Campden, is having an ‘Art Week’ for the residents.

The week will consist of a variety of classes and workshops, where residents will have the opportunity to try their hand at different artistic disciplines, such as photography, watercolours, and card making.

On Friday 1st May the artwork will be displayed, while the Mayor, Chris Jones, judges the results. The Artists’ Guild, located opposite the home in Chipping Campden, has been invited to exhibit a collection of artwork alongside residents’ art, for everyone to appreciate and enjoy.

Jodie Wright, Home Manager, says: “We are delighted that the Mayor Chris Jones will be coming along on 1st May. Mill House has been open just over a year and we have fantastic great connections with the local community; it is great to be working together and to be able to offer something back.

“Everyone is welcome to come along and join the classes we’re hosting. Art can be amazingly therapeutic, and this is an opportunity for everyone, from friends and relatives to those who would just like to come and see Mill House for themselves. We’d be delighted to welcome everyone to do something a little bit different for the afternoon.”
