Care home Carer Carol Haigh, and Caring Homes Marketing Director, Emma Charlton, have both been short-listed as finalists for the imminent Care Awards.
Carer of the Year finalist, Carol Haigh, from Bradbury House in Braintree, Essex, was short listed from thousands of entrants for her extraordinary devotion to the residents and her role at the home. Often investing her own time to help out, Carol has set up several initiatives, much to the delight of residents, who now benefit from many events including ‘fine foods’ evenings and afternoon ‘Tea at Three’. The warm and friendly atmosphere within the home and the satisfaction of residents, reflects the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm Carol shows in her role, and it is people like her who have helped bring to fruition the vision of Caring Homes, making it what it is today.
Emma Charlton, finalist for Care Marketer of the Year is Marketing Director of the Caring Homes Group and is responsible for the marketing strategies across all four of the companies brands; Caring Homes, Consensus, Curate and Cheshire House. Emma constantly generates new and innovative marketing campaigns, focused individually around particular homes and the surrounding community. An enthusiastic and dedicated marketer, Emma encourages and inspires both her marketing team and the home managers.
The Care Awards is a prestigious annual event designed to recognise excellent service and dedication across all spectrums of care. Winners of each category will be announced at a special ceremony on November 24th 2007.
