‘Zootastic’ visit Oak Manor

The residents of Oak Manor were treated to some animal interaction this week as they enjoyed a visit from the ‘Zootastic’ team.

Animal therapy is widely acknowledged as being beneficial for all ages and with rabbits, hedgehogs, owls, guinea pigs and a dog, there was something for everyone to enjoy. There were even snakes and a tortoise to hold and stroke for anyone brave enough.

The residents and staff all enjoyed handling the animals and learning more about them from the knowledgeable petting zoo team.

Located in the village of Scarning, Oak Manor is a care home providing dementia care for up to 61 elderly people.
