Zac Goldsmith MP unveils exciting new initiatives at Galsworthy care home

Richmond Park MP Zac Goldsmith delighted Residents, relatives and staff at Galsworthy House Nursing Home, by attending an afternoon of tea and cakes to help the home to launch exciting new recruitment and training initiatives.

The MP also helped celebrate the launch of the Helena Jeffery Care Academy, which provides hands-on training to newly recruited nursing staff and carers before they start on the floor or in the ward.
Caring Homes will also be providing additional resources for existing and new employees, including the payment of professional fees and a new Voluntary Employee Benefits scheme, which offers retail discounts at over 8,000 locations nationwide.

Zac Goldsmith, MP for Richmond Park, said:

“I was delighted to be able to meet with Residents, relatives and staff at Galsworthy House. It’s always a pleasure to spend time with such important members of our community.
“The quality of care and support that nursing and care homes provide is of the utmost importance and I’m proud to help celebrate these new initiatives which aim to recruit the very best staff and to ensure that they receive quality training.”
