Wimbledon arrives in the Chilterns

Wimbledon fever arrived at Abbeycrest once again this week as the staff and residents headed outside for their annual tennis tournament.

With the sun beating down, limited mobility proved to be no barrier to having fun as the residents drew inspiration from the famous competition and took it in turns to play and even to imitate the ball boys and ball girls.

After the lovely day of tennis in the garden – everyone headed inside to watch the real thing on television and enjoy some well-deserved strawberries and cream.

Located in the quiet village of Sonning Common, Abbeycrest offers exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care in the heart of the Chilterns.
