West Earlham Infant School visits Ivy Court

As part of the schools participation project, started at Ivy Court by our activity coordinator Felicity last month, we had our local infant school, West Earlham Infant School, come into the home on the 9th December.

A whole class of year 2 children and their teacher came to sing some of the songs that they have been practising this term in the class choir. At the end of the recital some of residents requested Christmas songs, so the children cleverly improvised and sang some of the ones that they already knew.

The brave children were listened to by the residents and their families. Everyone really enjoyed listening and singing along to the music. After the children had finished singing they enjoyed drinks and biscuits whilst they met and talked to all of our residents.

We like to say a big thank you to the school for treating us, children and music bring a feeling of joy to our residents!
