The Great Scottish Bake Off

The staff and residents of a number of our Scottish Homes descended on Marchglen this week as the home hosted the much-anticipated ‘Great Scottish Bake Off.’

There was a fantastic turnout for the day with staff, residents, family and friends all supporting their entries. The judges tasked with picking the winners included Alva Academy`s home economics teacher, four of her pupils and a chef from Stirling University. After the cakes were judged, prizes were awarded to each of the winners before the long awaited sampling could take place.
