The ‘boys’ of Beechwood on tour

Caring Homes’ newly introduced ‘Living’ programme was initially developed as a structured way of exploring residents’ existing hobbies and lost interests, through interactive activities and outings.

The ‘gents’ of Beechwood Park have been indulging just such a hobby recently through touring a number of football stadiums across the country.

The latest stops on their ‘football tour’ were Tynecastle, home to Heart of Midlothian and Ibrox, home of Glasgow Rangers. Whilst exploring Ibrox, the first team were training on the pitch and the group were lucky enough to meet Rangers’ midfield maestro Ian Black, pictured here with Ian Drummond.

Located at the heart of New Sauchie, Beechwood Park is a care home providing specialist nursing and dementia care.
