Swingball proves a smash at Abbeycrest

Many of the Abbeycrest residents got into the swing of Wimbledon this week as they took part in a ‘friendly’ swingball competition in the garden. The game offered a great opportunity for some fresh air and exercise, although Andy Murray’s title may not be in danger quite yet!

In keeping with the time-honoured Wimbledon tradition, the game was followed by some beautifully fresh strawberries and cream, prepared by the chef team at the Oxfordshire home.

Located in the quiet village of Sonning Common at the heart of the Chilterns, Abbeycrest is one of Caring Homes’ newest care homes in Berkshire, offering exceptional residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.
