Standon Hall Macmillan coffee morning

The staff and residents of Standon Hall are always keen to support local causes close to their heart and it was the turn of Douglas Macmillan Hospice to benefit from a charity coffee morning at the Staffordshire home recently.

Talented staff member Carol baked some beautiful cakes for the occasion, including two magnificent sponges loaded with buttercream and chocolate buttons and some tasty cupcakes.

The residents had a lovely time chatting over coffee and cake, raising £25.50 for the worthy cause in the process.

Standon Hall is a quite magnificent manor house, which has been sympathetically converted to provide residential care in the form of fine country living for up to 22 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
