Standon Hall hosts tasty tea in honour of St Valentine

To celebrate Valentines Day this year, the residents at Standon Hall in Stafford were treated to a tasty themed tea.
The dining room had the full festive treatment, with each table being decorated in traditional red roses, heart-shaped napkins, Valentine-themed chocolates and place names made by the residents. The room itself was also adorned with hearts made by the residents and heart shaped balloons.

Margaret, a regular visitor to Standon Hall, brought in a delicious batch of cakes for everyone to enjoy and they proved to be perfect ‘brain food’ ahead of the Valentine’s themed quiz hosted in the afternoon.

Standon Hall is a quite magnificent manor house, which has been sympathetically converted to provide residential care in the form of fine country living for up to 22 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
