Rectory House celebrates with ‘special friend’ Richard Norton

Since the passing of his wife some six years ago, Richard Norton has continued to visit the residents of Rectory House regularly every four weeks.

During these visits, Richard spends time with the residents, plays them their favourite music and they enjoy a singsong together.

This week saw Richard celebrate his 90th birthday and the residents were keen to show him how much his visits mean to them, so they presented him with a birthday balloon, a card and organised for the chef to bake him a special cake. They look forward to many more visits from a truly special friend of the home.

Situated in the village of Sompting, Rectory House provides residential and nursing support for up to 41 people.
