Oaken Holt hosts fantastic farm day

After weeks of strong sunshine, the clouds provided some welcome respite for Oaken Holt’s farm day this Saturday.

Farms2ewe, a local mobile farm, took over the Oaken Holt garden as they brought sheep, ducklings, rabbits, chicks, a chestnut Shetland pony, a Friesian cow and even a black Labrador for the enjoyment of everyone who attended the lively event.

The staff at the Oxfordshire home also put on a cake stall, craft stalls and tombola, whilst guests enjoyed Pimms, strawberries and cream and ice cream in the fresh air.

Set within 23 acres of beautiful gardens and parklands in the heart of Oxfordshire, Oaken Holt is a magnificent country estate offering residential and nursing care of the very highest standard for up to 55 discerning ladies and gentlemen.
