National Care Home Open Day at Huntercombe Hall

Huntercombe Hall celebrated National Care Home Open Day in style again this year as they welcomed the community for an entertaining garden party.

Residents, relatives and guests enjoyed a glass of Pimms or a soft drink and relaxed in the sunshine as live jazz and swing music set the tone for the summer solstice celebration.

One of the visitors was a gentleman who had travelled several miles on the bus to join the celebratory open day. He had visited the home few weeks previously and was so impressed that he made the effort to return for the event. Having had a lovely day at Huntercombe Hall, the team made sure that he returned home safely and he thanked them for the care and kindness they had shown him.

Located in the village of Nuffield, Huntercombe Hall provides residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 42 elderly people.
