Mount Pleasant residents enjoy popular Town Hall Concert

 Staff and residents at Mount Pleasant Care Home in Burton joined the community in attending a recent organ concert at the Town Hall.

The entertainment was provided by Norman Scott from Wrexham. Norman went through his popular repertoire including famous musicals, war songs and 1950’s rock and roll. Many residents commented that the music brought back fond memories, some even referring to dancing with their partners in the town hall itself.

Mount Pleasant Care Home is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery. Located on the edge of Staffordshire’s Burton-on-Trent and enjoying beautiful views of the National Forest and Derbyshire countryside, Mount Pleasant is a modern purpose-built care home providing residential and specialist dementia care for up to 50 elderly people.
