Marchglen play Boccia

One of the more popular games we play at Marchglen Care Centre in Fishcross is Boccia.

It was a game developed for people with disabilities to play and we encountered the game when our residents participated in a sports day organised by Forth Valley Disability Sports.  We still attend the FVDS sports days but as not all our residents are fit enough to go along we bought a set of balls so we could play the game in Marchglen.

Our residents are quite competitive but the fun is in taking part and making sure everyone just enjoys playing the game.
