Knowle Park residents get ready for spring

The residents of Knowle Park have been preparing the Cranleigh home for spring recently by planting bulbs of Narcissus ready for the new season.

In preparation, the group had hand painted the planting pots in a variety of styles and colours, ready for the bulbs from the home’s gardener, Ray, who also provided some compost and helped them to plant the bulbs.

Whilst they worked, many of the residents reminisced about their gardening days, sharing stories and having a good chat. Many of the completed pots are to be placed around the home, a good reminder for everyone that spring is on the way!

Knowle Park is a magnificent early 19th century Manor House on the outskirts of Cranleigh, that has been lovingly restored to provide the highest level residential and nursing care for up to 43 elderly ladies and gentlemen.
