Halloween coffee morning at Ivy Court

On the 31st October the residents at Ivy Court had a Halloween coffee morning and invited their families so they could get together and enjoy some cake and coffees over a chat.

We had about 10 residents come to the coffee morning. There was a big selection of cakes to choose from, created by our wonderful chef, and we also have the coffee machine to use as well. All the residents that came really enjoyed themselves. We had some music playing which we had a sing along to, and we also looked through the magazines in the café which provided lots to chat about.

Getting ready for Halloween some of the residents painted different designs on paper plates to look like pumpkins so we could decorate the cafe. We also carved out some pumpkins during the week, the residents helped us clean the pumpkins out and draw a design on them for the staff to then carve, we were all very proud of our hard work.
